About us
International Skateboarding Consortium (ISC)
The International Skateboarding Consortium (ISC) supports sport diplomacy through youth-led skateboarding activities. We believe global sport reinvents 21st century bridge-building and that skateboarding offers a low-cost and organic platform to build peace. We help youth fulfill their potential through healthy adventure, mentoring, and training.
We know the power of youth ambassadors and we love their passion to connect via sport.
Skateboarding is one of the most popular activities in Japan. Long before it became an Olympic sport, Japanese skaters defied norms and set new records. Offering a diverse range of skate spots with unique features and obstacles, Japan is a skater’s haven. Today, youth skateboarders are international diplomats who build bridges through the universal language of sport using just 4 wheels and a deck.
